Alaska Vacation Review -- Videos and Photos

It's quite the task to capture every spectacular moment on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. All those moments you never want to forget, as well as those moments you want to make sure you remember so you can brag about it years later to your kids.

So we took both our video camera and still camera to Alaska -- in hopes of capturing it all.

And considering we were gone around 9 days, I think getting our Alaska video overview down to a bit under 30 minutes was pretty impressive. So while our video is still intended to help us remember our trip, we invite you to take a few... or 30 minutes to see everything that made our trip amazing.

So travel with us from Vancouver, to Ketchikan, to Juneau, to Skagway, to Glacier Bay National Park and then to College Fjord, to Whittier and finally to Anchorage.

Or, if you'd rather just make your way nearly 500 photographs, you can view all our photos by clicking here.

...oh and please ignore any misspellings in the videos... very strange things are afoot with my movie maker...

Beautiful pictures! I would like to know how cold it was when Emma was standing outside in her blue dress. It looks chilly!

Cheers

The entire trip was actually really nice -- 50's and 60's. It was until we got up into the Gulf of Alaska that temperatures dropped into the mandatory 4-layer outfit.
