The Green Calculator

Across the last few months, I've been working on project (for my own pleasure) called The Green Calculator.

In short, it considers several variable "green" activities (whether it be using reusable shopping bags, upgrading your appliances, using alternative transportation, etc.), the frequency of those activities, and the potential positive impact those activities might have on your wallet, water and tree conservation, and the reduction of harmful emissions.

Based on a variety of measurements (including some as detailed by the EPA), the calculator aims to give you a tangible look at what happens, what you'll see, what you'll (potentially) receive when you embrace certain elements of the "green" lifestyle.

So now, I'm giving you the opportunity to take it for a test drive. Take a few minutes to input your own information - find problems with the calculator, find opportunities for improvement, and make suggestions.

Currently in an interactive PDF form, I'm looking to eventually evolve this concept for a web-based platform - where you might be able to track and manage your "green" activities on a daily basis, compare with others, and review your trends across past months.

But before I do that, I'm looking for you to help refine and build it into something more than currently is. So be creative, and be honest.
